Welcome to Francine's personal page!
The CRS challenge is an activity designed to raise awareness about cancer research, which will affect 2 out of 5 people in their lifetime.
Medical breakthroughs have allowed patients to heal, be better cared for and believe in a possible future. And in the near future, stem cell research, the genomic revolution, and many other advances will further increase healing opportunities.
Having been diagnosed with this disease more than 20 years ago, my involvement with the CBC is self-evident.
My heroes are many: Our family has been hardly hit in the past year. My niece Joanne left us in October 2018; My sister Marie-Paule left us last January and my sister Marcelle passed away on March 27th. All beautiful women, great moms, great women. Energetic women who were certain to heal, to overcome this monster. Positive, they never gave up. In honor of Joanne, Marie-Paule and Marcelleand of your love ones, your dear ones, those who count for YOU, parents, friends, relatives. This will be my fifth challenge on behalf of the CRS. I will walk 7 days, 4 to 7 hours a day. This challenge is of intermediate level. I am motivated, determined and brought forward by what our family has experienced and all those I do not know who are in a similar situation.
In addition to the physical challenge, I have a specific financial goal: to raise $ 9,000 by January 2020. That's why I'm asking for your support, no matter the amount. Note that a tax receipt will be issued for donations of $ 20 or more.
In my name and on behalf of all those who are touched, near or far, I thank you,
