At least 2 out of 5 Canadians develop cancer during their lifetime.
Because the road is long and fraught with obstacles for all those people who must face the huge challenges of cancer, I wish to support them by going through a doubble challenge to help further research on this disease.
- A fundraising campaign to fund cancer research.
- A week long journey on the Amalfi Coast.
I will go on this journey in memory of my father who died of pancreatic cancer.
Having shared memorable moments with several of these brave men and woman (family, friends, colleagues), I am forced to admit that my challenge is not as great. But just as they need a great deal of support to help them rise to their challenge, I need yours to help me rise to mine.
I am therefore asking for your financial support with this fundraising campaign.
All donations, great and small, will be appreciated and we will help the Society in its fight against cancer and contribute to reducing the size of the challenges that these "heroes of cancer” must face.
To this end, the funds raised will contribute to better and earlier diagnosis and treatments, as well as understanding how it comes about in order to help prevent it.
I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
